The Good Samaritan

The story of the Good Samaritan is a favorite story of many of us. It was told by Jesus. Did you notice that the Samaritan did so many helpful things—taking care of him, paying for his care, etc? But did you also notice he did not bring him into his home? We can love and help refugees, but they do not necessarily need to come into our house. Also, do you think Jesus cares about who comes into His Father's House? I hear so many people, especially devout religious people saying that we should let all kinds of people into our country, but I first ask, "have you let them into your home, or will you?" Or, "Will the Vatican allow these people behind their walls?"

Talk is so cheap. We need to do what is right, but be smart about it. If you wonder what to do, pray and God will lead you.
