More Stock Splits.

First though, let me remind you of something. The other day I mentioned George Soros (in not too many kind words, and his investment into two coal companies, Arch Coal (ACI) and Peabody Energy (BTU). Both were around $1 when this happened. BTU ahs gone to to around $3, and ACI went up to $1,80, then to $2.50, then to $360, and on Friday it went up to $8. And these guys are losing  a lot of money. STOCK SPLITS: There are several we are following, and trading. One is Sketchers (SKX). They announced a 3:1 stock split, to be split on Oct. 12th. But some reports have it the 12th. Under Armour has announced a 2:1, but no split date is given. Medivation (MDVN) is doing a 2:1.

There are others, like Rolls Royce (American ADR ticker symbol is RYCEY). This stock trades on the London stock exchange, ticker RR. This is an ADR, or American Depository Receipt, where 5 London shares equals 1 ADR. Anyway they split last Thursday, over to Friday, and the $55 stock is now at $11, plus change.

Stay tuned.
